Japanese marvelous and traditional cultures

Funs produce things based upon essence of Japanese marvelous and traditional cultures as well as Food, Clothing and Housing as a matter of course.

Some crafters in Tokyo

There are still some crafters in Tokyo who have inherited Japanese classic cultures. Young successors have been fostered. Skills are used in those commodities of co.mon. Those skills are old but their relation with the crafters handing down WARMTH breathing for a long period of time is important as well in concept of a brand of co.mon.

Meisen

Meisen is a textile very popular in the early Edo era, a pattern of which is made by dyed warp joined together with dyed weft. Various kinds of sophisticated patterns can hardly be produced today. It took more than two to three months to weave a bolt of cloth. It was time-consuming and painstaking work of conservative and high quality textile, different from dyeing.
